On Monday 13th March at 3:45am we drove 411 miles out of Essex to our new home in Scotland.
We have always loved visiting the beautiful country and over the last couple of years the idea to move has been more inviting.
Leaving our home of 16 years was easier than we thought. Our lives in Essex had become stressful and stagnant and it felt like the right time to do it.
There are much more options for the boys in terms of education and our move allows us to focus on family time a lot more. Being able to go out and visit some lovely places and beautiful scenery that is pretty much on our doorstep.
The move wouldn't have been as straight forward if we hadn't had the help of our long time friend Richard Pearce, driving the distance with us in the van, loading and unloading.
Now that we are here, we can now concentrate on Valley Rose Candles while making it a success.
At the moment we are concentrating on getting the wax melts done, once we have our routine down, then when can look into candles and reed diffusers once again.
Thank you for your custom and we hope you will enjoy the things we love creating. x
